Hello! My name is Annie Holstein (like the orphan, and the black and white cow). I'm a New York City based actor, singer, and dancer. I was lucky enough to grow up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, and frequently engaged with the amazing theater scene out there (it all started by me seeing a fantastic community theater production of Beauty and The Beast and realizing that I too could be a fork).

 

I have a BFA in Theater Performance from Hofstra University. I love and excel in realism comedies & dramas and musical performances. I also love to dance, and am slowly getting back into it after breaking my foot in October (I fell down the stairs). My acting style is witty, earnest, and sweet (with a little bit of spice) which I bring to all parts of my life, onstage and off!

Outside of performing, I have grown a real love for event planning, preschool teaching, choreographing, and producing! Sometimes I feel like Barbie because I just want to do it all!

 

Some fun facts about me are I love sharks, sending emails, and using a lot of exclamation points and parentheses (if you haven't figured that out yet). My favorite singer is Lizzy McAlpine, and my right leg is an inch shorter than my left because I fell down a hill in 5th grade. When I'm not performing, you can find me learning how to crochet (it is not going well), cuddling with my new kitty Gus (pictured below), or kindly encouraging my roommates to fill out our joint calendar!
